This project consisted of the renovation of a 33,000 sqft nursing home into a domestic violence safe house. The facility has the dormitory style rooms for over 100 residents and their children. The building features a unique security system providing seven levels of security, secure outdoor gathering spaces, and four kitchens for residents to use. The safehouse also has a children’s playroom, boutique, supply kitchen, contemplation room, a large conference room and administrative offices.
