The Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at CSU purchased a 50 year old building originally constructed for the Alpha Chi Omega sorority in 1965. Asbestos containing surfacing materials and flooring required abatement of any surfaces that would be impacted. This building now includes a new water line, fire sprinkler system, fire alarm, flooring throughout, wall finishes, building-wide wi-fi, remodel of the existing kitchen, creation of an ADA compliant bathroom, maintenance and repair of the HVAC system, landscape and irrigation repair, and new infrastructure for 3 laundry rooms.
